Plain version: I hold business contact details so I can contact people about consulting work, I will tell you where I got them, and you can tell me to stop at any time and I will.

Who the controller is
For UK and EU personal data, the controller is Aude Consulting Services Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 17283094, registered office 1 Dysart Street, London, England, EC2A 2BX. For US engagements the controller is Aude Consulting, LLC. Contact: haden@audeconsulting.com.
What is held, and where it came from
Business contact details: name, job title, employer, business email address, business telephone number, and public professional profile information. Some of this is given to me directly. Some of it is obtained from commercial business-data providers and public professional sources rather than from you. Where that is the case, the first message you receive from me will say so.
Why it is held
To contact business decision-makers about consulting services, to manage client and prospect relationships, and to run the practice's commercial administration. The lawful basis is legitimate interests: direct business-to-business marketing of professional services to people in relevant roles. That basis is balanced against your interests, and it stops the moment you object.
How long
Prospect records are held while the commercial interest is live and reviewed periodically; records with no engagement are removed. Client records are held for as long as the engagement requires and then for the period necessary to meet legal and accounting obligations.
Who it is shared with
Service providers who process data on the practice's behalf under contract: customer relationship management, email delivery, scheduling, and accounting. Data is not sold and is not shared for anyone else's marketing.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of what is held, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, ask for processing to be restricted, and object to direct marketing at any time. An objection to direct marketing is absolute: it will be actioned without argument. Write to haden@audeconsulting.com. If you are not satisfied with the response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Cookies and Analytics
This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies, and nothing is stored on your device. We do run a privacy-preserving analytics tool (PostHog) to count page views, configured so that it writes no cookies and no local storage, builds no visitor profile, records no sessions, and carries no identity between pages or across sites. Visits are counted; visitors are not followed.
Because nothing is stored on your device and no profiling takes place, no consent banner is required. If that ever changes, this notice changes with it and a consent mechanism will be added before it does.
